Long Beach is a beautiful private subdivision plated in 1923, on the south shore of Lake Erie. We are located just off State Route 2, in Carroll Township, between the Cities of Toledo and Port Clinton, Ohio. Long Beach can be reached by turning north on Humphrey Road off State Route 2.
Long Beach has a very strong and active association know as the Long Beach Association (LBA). We have Articles of Incorporation and a Code of Regulations. We currently have over 140 members.
The LBA maintains the harbor, roads, drainage and street lighting. We have many active committees that oversee various Long Beach activities such as construction regulations, golf carts licensing, equipment maintenance and lot mowing.
Long Beach offers many amenities to our members and their guests. Our greatest asset is the residents of Long Beach and you will find it to be a friendly and outgoing place. We offer our members a 133 slip boat basin, marine gas, and a traveling boat lift. Transient docks are available for friends and family visiting Long Beach residents. Members can store their boats in the boat yard during off season months. We also offer a jet- ski lift to our members.
Great fishing is minutes away and West Sister Island and Put –In-Bay are easily visible from our beaches. Nature is all around us and it is a rare day that you don’t see a Bald Eagle circling above.
We are located minutes from Port Clinton, Oak Harbor and thousands of pristine acres within Ottawa National Wildlife Preserve.
Because Long Beach is private, many members use their golf carts as the main mode of transportation within the subdivision. It is not uncommon to see several golf carts on the Long Beach Pier enjoying an evening sunset.
